How are you using the editing process to create a coherent meaning from your collection of shots? Focus on meaning-making throughout the process

we used the editing process to create a coherent meaning by making the transitions smooth and it made the pace not to slow and not to fast but just right for the genre of our film.

What kind of technology did you use during the process?

we used an i phone camera for the good quality and wevideo to edit our sequence the best as posible

What did you learn about using postproduction technologies (iMovie, Adobe Premier, Audacity, sound equipment, etc.)?

i learned that the editing software capcut is by far the easiest site i created my introduction in less than 5 minutes and it had a plethora of animations and effects

Did you consult any sources to learn how to use your equipment (YouTube tutorials, etc.)?

we did use youtube to learn how to use blender but it didnt end too well i couldnt figure it out so i switched up to cap cut and it made life so much easier

What are the conventions of titling in your genre, and how did you follow or challenge them?

WE FOLLOWED CONVENTIONS OF THE TYPICALL BOY MEETS GIRL IN ROMANTIC COMEDY FILMS.

What kinds of transitions, effects, and titles are you using? Why?

we used smooth transitions like fade out and fade inS

What kinds of sounds do you need to add? How are you doing so?

the only kind of sounds we needed to add was the background music so it could set the mood of happiness and romance

How are you performing the process of color correction? (Adding filters, adjusting exposure and tint, etc.)

some changes we made at the end of our project is remaking all of our library shots for the fact that they were not romantic enough. 

            Difficulties encountered along the way

some difficulties we had was the editing software's that we started using which was adobe pro and blender these software's were unreliable or just to intricate to use. another difficulty that we faced was the remaking of our library shots.

            "A-ha" moments or learning experiences

a learning experience we experienced was that not everything will go as planned we planned to use adobe premiere pro but it was not responsive and we switched to we video at the last minute  and put our sequence together.
